Wes Craven’s first three Scream films are getting a 4K disc release in the UK this October: more details here.
Thus far on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc format in the UK, the latter Scream movies are all present and correct, but not the earlier films. That, however, is about to change.
Paramount now has the home entertainment release rights to the Scream movies, and it’s releasing a boxset of the first three movies on the 4K format. That’d be Wes Craven’s trio of Scream, Scream 2 and Scream 3. No idea what’s happening with Scream 4, but let’s take what we can get for the minute.
The new set is going on sale from October 2nd 2023, and is carrying over what looks like copious extra features from the Blu-ray releases.
