All four Matrix films are bundled back together in a new 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray set for Warner Bros’100th birthday celebrations.
Warner Bros continues the celebration of its 100th anniversary year with more news on the physical media front. This time, it’s bundling together all four films in The Matrix saga in a new set on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format.
The Ultimate Matrix Collection appears to be a repackaging with the firm’s 100th anniversary logo on the box. This means on the one hand you get the films plus a lot of extra features. On the flip side of that, if you already own the films on physical media, don’t expect new extras in this particular set. You do also, incidentally, get The Animatrix included here, but that’s provided on a Blu-ray, and not in 4K.
More information is available on the collection here, and that’s where you can order it from too. It’s been set for release on March 6th.
