Trailer arrives for Amazon’s Welcome To The Blumhouse

A new collection of Blumhouse films is heading to Amazon – and the trailer for them all has just been released. Blumhouse Productions are having a very good year. Its reimagining of The Invisible Man earlier this year was an undoubted success. So successful in fact, that it washed the nasty taste of Universal’s Dark Universe idea from everybody’s mouth,  proving itself instead as a big symbolic win for idea-led filmmaking, rather than star-laden, cinematic universe blockbusters. Also, right now, the production company has The Vigil in UK cinemas which is a cracking watch. It’s a shame that more people won’t get to see it during its cinema run, but we suspect its slow-burn suspense will find its audience eventually and deservedly so. And of course, there’s more to come from Blumhouse. We’ve known for a little while that Welcome To The Blumhouse was coming to Amazon, as the horror anthology is set to debut two films on October the 6th, with two more to come that month. Four more films (not featured in the trailer) will then follow next year. But this trailer has now landed, so you can get a preview below of the thrills, spills and horrors that will soon have you hiding behind your sofa… Thank you for visiting! If you’d like to support our attempts to make a non-clickbaity movie website: Follow Film Stories on Twitter here, and on Facebook here.
