The delayed comedy drama Limbo ā€“ set on a remote Scottish island ā€“ finally has a release date and a trailer to boot. Limbo seems to have been in well, limbo, for quite some time. Originally set to release in September of last year, the film finally has a release date of April 30th and whatā€™s more, we can catch our first glimpse of the highly-anticipated comedy drama that has been earning rave reviews on the festival circuit. The filmā€™s plot is described as such: ā€˜An offbeat observation of the refugee experience. On a fictional remote Scottish island, a group of new arrivals await the results of their asylum claims. Among them is Omar, a young Syrian musician burdened by the weight of his grandfatherā€™s oud [a Middle Eastern lute], which he has carried all the way from his homeland.ā€™ Weā€™re really looking forward to this one and glad the film is finally visible on the horizon. You can catch the trailer below ahead of the filmā€™s release next month. ā€” Thank you for visiting! If youā€™d like to support our attempts to make a non-clickbaity movie website: Follow Film Stories on Twitter here, and on Facebook here.
