It’s Marlon Wayans vs Halloween decorations – yes, really – in The Curse Of Bridge Hollow: here’s the first trailer. The Wayans Brothers have long been associated with lampooning the horror genre, being the creative minds who spearheaded the smash-hit Scary Movie franchise through the first two films. Then there was the less successful A Haunted House and its sequel. Now, they’re back in similar territory for The Curse Of Bridge Hollow. The premise and trailer evoke a story that could easily slot into R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps series, and the official synopsis reads as follows: A father and his teenage daughter are forced to team up and save their town after an ancient and mischievous spirit causes Halloween decorations to come to life and wreak havoc.” Wayans and Priah Ferguson star as the father and daughter, alongside Kelly Rowland, Rob Riggle, John Michael Higgins, Nia Vardalos, Lauren Lapkus, Holly J. Barrett, Myles Vincent Perez, Abi Monterey, and Helen Slayton-Hughes. Kick Ass 2 director Jeff Wadlow helmed the film from a screenplay by Todd Berger and Robert Rugan. The Curse of Bridge Hollow will be released on Netflix on the 14th October.
