Catch your first glimpse of the upcoming political drama Oslo here, with Ruth Wilson and Andrew Scott leading the cast.

The trailer for Oslo, the movie of the Tony award winning play of the same name, has been released ahead of the film’s debut on the HBO Max streaming platform in the US next month.

The film, which stars Andrew Scott and Ruth Wilson, ‘recounts the true-life, previously secret, back-channel negotiations in the development of the pivotal 1990s Oslo Peace Accords between Israel and the Palestinian Liberation Organisation.’

It’s directed by Bartlett Sher, who despite making her feature debut, brings plenty of experience as a Broadway director, whilst the film is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, among others. The trailer certainly looks promising, although no UK release date has been announced yet, but we’ll keep you posted.
