Larry Charles is back with his first film in seven years, a comedy called Dicks: The Musical – here’s the trailer.
Larry Charles is perhaps best known for his collaborations with Sacha Baron Cohen on films like Borat, Bruno and The Dictator. His last film was 2016’s Army Of One starring Nicolas Cage.
Now, he’s back with a new comedy called Dicks: The Musical. The synopsis reads as follows:
‘Two self-obsessed businessmen (writers Aaron Jackson & Josh Sharp) discover they’re long-lost identical twins and come together to plot the reunion of their eccentric divorced parents.’
The film also stars Megan Thee Stallion, Nathan Lane, Megan Mullally, and Bowen Yang as God.
The screenplay is written by Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp.
Dicks: The Musical will premiere at the 2023 Toronto Film Festival before being released in cinemas on the 29th September 2023.
