Financial thriller Fair Play comes to Netflix in October after earning lots of acclaim earlier in the year: here’s the trailer.
Finance has been a deep well for drama over the years, whether its Wall Street, Boiler Room or the excess of Wolf Of Wall Street.
Fair Game is set in the world of a high stakes hedge fund. The synopsis reads as follows:
Hot off the heels of their new engagement, thriving New York couple Emily (Phoebe Dynevor) and Luke (Alden Ehrenreich) can’t get enough of each other. When a coveted promotion at a cutthroat financial firm arises, supportive exchanges between the lovers begin to sour into something more sinister. As the power dynamics irrevocably shift in their relationship, Luke and Emily must face the true price of success and the unnerving limits of ambition.
Eddie Marsan, Rich Sommer, Sebastian De Souza, Sia Alipour and Brandon Bassir also star.
Chloe Domont writes and directs. It is a world she has dabbled in before, having previously directed episodes of Ballers and Billions.
Fair Play will stream on Netflix from the 13th October.
