Dave Franco has helmed his second film as director: the trailer and release date for Somebody I Used To Know has been released.

Dave Franco may be better known as an actor, having appeared in the Now You See Me franchise and Nerve. Yet he previously directed and co-wrote horror film The Rental, about two paranoid couples.

Now, he’s made his second feature as director, going by the name of Somebody I Used To Know.

The synopsis for it reads as follows:

Somebody I Used to Know follows workaholic Ally who reunites with an ex-boyfriend on a trip to her hometown, a rendezvous that makes her start to question all of her prior life choices. The turn of events only get more confusing when she meets Cassidy, a younger woman who reminds her of the person she used to be.

Allison Brie stars as Ally, with Jay Ellis, Kiersey Clemons, Haley Joel Osment, Brie’s Community co-star Danny Pudi, Julie Hagerty and Amy Sedaris. Franco directed the film from a screenplay he co-wrote with Brie.

Somebody I Used To Know will be released on Amazon Prime Video on the 10th February. Watch the trailer below…
