Nocebo examines domestic bliss that goes very, very wrong, and here’s the first trailer for the upcoming film.
It’s a good time to be a horror fan, with Barbarian and Prey For The Devil hitting the multiplexes this week, and a lot more just around the corner.
For example, now, we have the trailer for a homegrown horror, Nocebo, which “follows a fashion designer who is suffering from a mysterious illness that puzzles her doctors and frustrates her husband. Help arrives in the form of Diana, a Filipino carer who uses traditional folk healing to reveal a horrifying truth.
Eva Green plays the fashion designer, with Mark Strong as her husband and Chai Fonacier as the carer.
Lorcan Finnegan, who won plaudits for his unsettling 2019 chiller Vivarium, directs from a screenplay by regular collaborator Garret Shanley.
Nocebo will be released in the UK and Ireland on the 9th December via Vertigo Releasing, and you can watch the trailer below…
