The twisty thriller Gone In The Night follows the breakdown of two couples visiting a cabin in the woods.

Her scarcity of acting roles in recent years means that the prospect of a new Winona Ryder film is a welcome treat. Her new one sounds pretty good too.

The synopsis for Gone In The Night is as follows:

“Kath and her boyfriend Gary arrive at a remote cabin in the redwoods, only to discover that a mysterious younger couple is already there. The rental has apparently been double-booked, and with nowhere else to go, they decide to share the cabin with these strangers. When her boyfriend disappears with the young woman, Kath becomes obsessed with finding an explanation for their sudden breakup—but the truth is far stranger than she could have ever imagined”.

Ryder plays Kath while Gary is played by Peter Gallagher Jr. Rounding out the cast are Dermot Mulroney, Owen Teague and Brianne Tju.

The film is directed by Eli Horowitz, who also co-wrote the script with Matthew Derby.

Gone In The Night will be released on 15th July. Watch the trailer below.
