The time travel novel This Time Tomorrow has spent three weeks on the New York Times bestseller list – and now it’s becoming a film.

The latest literary behemoth to be opti0ned for the big screen treatment – This Time Tomorrow, by Emma Straub – is a time travel tale with a twist.

The plot follows Alice, an unhappy forty year old woman who cares for her ailing father. One day, she wakes up in 1996, and as well as getting used to her adolescent body and dealing with all the drama that comes with it, she is shocked to see the younger version of her father, happy and healthy. She must figure out if changing this present will affect her future.

Jason Moore, of Pitch Perfect and Sister fame, will direct from a screenplay adapted by Straub herself. Moore’s next feature Shotgun Wedding, starring Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamal, will debut on Amazon Prime Video soon.

No release day has yet been announced for This Time Tomorrow, but we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
