A trailer has been released for Wonderwell, a long-delayed film that also serves as Carrie Fisher’s final role.
After a delay of seven years, Wonderwell has finally been finished.
The film follows “a young girl named Violet and her American family — including sister Savannah— move to Italy after she becomes the face of a world-renowned designer’s fashion label. When Violet wanders into a forest near the enchanting medieval village her family has come to stay in, she meets a ‘fabled’ witch of the forest, Hazel”.
Fisher plays Hazel, alongside newcomer Kiera Milward, Tiger Free, Rita Ora and Sebastian Croft.
Vlad Marsavin directed the film from a script by William Brookfield.
Vertical Entertainment is handling UK distribution, although there is currently no release date that’s been announced.
