Get your first look at the upcoming feature-length animation from the UK’s own Locksmith Animation, Ron’s Gone Wrong. Never mind its upcoming animated debut feature film, Ron’s Gone Wrong, the story behind Locksmith Animation’s path to releasing the film in question would make an amazing story in itself. Having been partnered with no fewer than two major studios during the development and production of Ron’s Gone Wrong, it has been a turbulent few years for the British animation studio, who is finally on the cusp of releasing its first film. Ron’s Gone Wrong is set to be released by 20th Century Studios, although future Locksmith releases will come courtesy of Warner Bros. IT, Luca and Shazam actor Jack Dylan Grazer stars alongside Zach Galifianakis, with Olivia Colman, Ed Helms, Justice Smith, Rob Delaney, Kylie Cantrall, Ricardo Hurtado, Marcus Scribner, and Thomas Barbusca also featuring on voice duties. The film is set to release in October. The socially awkward middle-schooler is the last kid in town to get a Best Friend out of the Box, a robot buddy and the latest craze on the market. When he finally does, he gets Ron (Galifanakis), who can’t stop malfunctioning. So, he tries to teach Ron how to be human.
