Charlize Theron and Daniel Craig will star in Two For The Money, which is said to have a His Girl Friday feel and will be directed by Justin Lin.
Hereās some news on a rather interesting-sounding project: Apple Studios has landed the rights for heist thriller, Two For The Money, reportedly managing to see off some pretty fierce competition.
Whatās more, the project is set to feature Charlize Theron and Daniel Craig opposite each other in a heist thriller directed by Justin Lin.
If that isnāt enough to pique your interest, (or perhaps youāre thinking of Linās work on the Fast And Furious films and wondering if this will end up being a green-screen, effects-laden extravaganza), the project is said to possess a His Girl Friday feel, echoing the āCary Grant-Rosalind Russell snappy rapport vibeā of the 1940 Howards Hawks film.
Thatās what reportedly drew Theron into the project and she in turn is said to have suggested Craig as her opposite number.
Justin Lin has worked with Theron during their time on the Fast And Furious films, although not on the most recent one of course, given that he exited in a high-profile manner after production had begun.
Since then, Lin was announced to have taken on a smaller project that will see him move back closer to his indie roots. The Last Days Of John Allan Chau was announced in March of this year, before the strikes kicked in, and as far as we can tell is still in pre-production with reports stating that it is set to shoot in Thailand early next year.
Two for the Money is likely to be set up for later in 2024 then, with a 2025 release date likely. Weāll bring you more on this one as we hear it.
