Reece Shearsmith lends his voice to Wallaceā€™s latest invention in a new clip ā€“ check out the Vengeance Most Fowl teaser below.

In Vengeance Most Fowl, Wallace and Gromit might just have their work cut out for them.

After a previous teaser revealed the duoā€™s first outing since 2008ā€™s A Matter Of Loaf And Death would see the return of perhaps the worldā€™s most dangerous criminal ā€“ master of disguise and all-round neā€™er-do-well Feathers McGraw ā€“ it seems the villain wonā€™t be the only one keeping the pair on their toes.

Taking to the social media platform formally known as Twitter, Aardman have offered a look at one of Wallaceā€™s latest inventions: Norbot the Smart Gnome, voiced by League Of Gentlemen and Inside No. 9 alum Reece Shearsmith.

ā€œWe are delighted to introduce Norbot, a ‘Nifty Odd-jobbing Robot’ gnome, designed to help Gromit with his gardening chores,ā€ say co-directors Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham. ā€œWe’re so excited to see Wallace unleashing his latest invention Norbot into the world. However, his long suffering pooch Gromit, may be a little less sure…ā€

Venegance Most Fowl is the second feature-length film starring everyoneā€™s favourite plasticine pairing, after 2005ā€™s Curse Of The Were-Rabbit became the first stop-motion film to take home the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature (Guillermo del Toroā€™s Pinocchio, which came to Netflix in 2022, became the second).

The film marks the latest in a series of collaborations between Aardman and Netflix after the studioā€™s latest film, Chicken Run: Dawn Of The Nugget debuted on the platform last year. The new film will air on BBC One over the festive period in the UK, before heading to Netflix for an unspecified global release.

Much more (weā€™re unreasonably excited) on Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl when we have it.
