Wayne’s World’s is getting a 4K upgrade, with the news that the original movie is heading to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.
The much-loved comedy Wayne’s World is rounding off its 30th birthday year with the news that the film is coming to the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format. The movie’s 4K upgrade had already been announced elsewhere in the world, and now comes the confirmation that the UK is getting a UHD release of the disc as well.
The movie has been earmarked by Paramount for release on November 14th, in a set that’ll carry over a commentary track from director Penelope Spheeris and an ‘extreme close-up’ featurette.
It doesn’t look like there are fresh extras for the release, but the main attraction of course remains the 1992 movie. You can find more on the upcoming 4K release, and order a copy, right here.
