Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin will star in Picture This, a new British rom-com that’s heading to Prime Video.
We wrote a couple of weeks ago about the new golden era of rom-coms that we seem to be entering and just like that, a new British rom-com has been announced.
Picture This, directed by Prarthana Mohan, is heading to Prime Video. Simone Ashley of Bridgerton fame will star as Pia, a single woman looking for love. After franchise’s Hero Fiennes Tiffin will (presumably) play one of her love interests.
Phil Dunster, Luke Fetherston, Nikesh Patel, Adil Ray, Anoushka Chadha, Sindhu Vee and Asim Chaudhry will also appear in the film. Nikita Lalwani is the writer. Picture This is based on an Australian Prime Video film, Five Blind Dates.

Here’s the official synopsis: Single and without a man on the horizon, Pia (Simone Ashley) runs a failing photography studio in London with her best friend Jay (Luke Fetherston). As her sister Sonal (Anoushka Chadha) prepares to get married and her mother Laxmi (Sindhu Vee) urges the resolutely independent Pia to partner up, a spiritual guru at Sonal’s engagement party predicts Pia will meet the love of her life among the next five dates she goes on. As her family intervene, setting her up on a series of increasingly desperate blind dates, Pia begins a hilarious but heartfelt quest for real love.
