With the acclaimed film launching shortly on Amazon Prime, here’s the new trailer for One Night In Miami.
Amazon are clearly hoping for awards success with the upcoming release of One Night In Miami. Already an early tip for awards success, the film is directed by Regina King, star of the recent Watchmen HBO series and Oscar winner for If Beale Street Could Talk.
The film takes place over one night, February 25th, 1964. Cassius Clay, who will one day be named Muhammad Ali, has just won the boxing world championship. He spends the subsequent night in a motel with three of his friends: the political activist, Malcolm X, singer Sam Cooke and football star Jim Brown. Together, their conversations through the night have the potential to redefine their world.
Starring Eli Goree, Kingsley Ben Adair, Lesley Odom Jr. and Aldis Hodge, the film marks King’s directorial debut and is reportedly one to look out for, with strong early reviews.
A previous trailer released in November, but with the film just a few days away from launch, you can catch the newer (and dare we say, better) trailer right here.
