Fresh, starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan, has been delayed by two weeks – it will now release on Disney+ on 18th March.
The release of Fresh, a thriller starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan, has been delayed by two weeks. It was due for release on Disney+ on 4th March, but has now been given a new release date – 18th March. It’s unclear why the date has shifted, but it’s sure to be a disappointment for those looking forward to seeing the film this weekend.
Fresh made its debut at this years’ Sundance Film Festival, and was picked up by the Disney-owned Searchlight Pictures. The thriller follows Noa, played by Daisy Edgar-Jones, who meets Sebastian Stan’s Steve at a grocery store. Fed up with online dating, she takes a chance and gives him her number. After only their first date he invites her on a romantic weekend getaway and she happily accepts, only to find that Steve has been hiding some unusual appetites.
The film is the feature directorial debut of Mimi Cave, and the script is penned by Ibiza writer Lauryn Kahn. Also in the cast are Twenties’ Jojo T. Gibbs, Charlotte Le Bon (from The Hundred-Foot Journey), Andrea Bang (from Kim’s Convenience and Luce), and Dayo Okeniyi, who has a supporting role in the Apple TV+ series See.
Fresh will be released on Disney+ on 18th March.
