Two unannounced Spider-projects are heading our way, but no news on what they might be as of yet.
Let the speculation commence. Sony has added two new dates to its release schedule, noting that they will be some kind of Spider-Man project. That’s all we know right now though, with no further news as to whether this could be a fourth entry in the mainline Spider-Man series starring Tom Holland, more of the Sony spin-off movies, or something else.
The ‘something else’ we’re thinking of (read: hoping for) is a live action take on Miles Morales, the hero of the animated Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse which is currently taking in hefty amounts of praise and dollars at the box office. Spidey commander-in-chief, Amy Pascal hinted at the premiere for Into the Spider-Verse that a live action outing for Miles might be in the works and perhaps this might be it?
We’d also bet that one 0f the dates is a fourth outing for Tom Holland’s beloved take on the webhead, as he has also been hinting of late that things are in the pipeline. Admittedly, both of the projects might be more tangential villain spin-offs but we’d need another coffee before we’re ready to face that prospect.
When more news does emerge, we’ll let you know.
