The writer of Bohemian Rhapsody is penning the script for a new Three Identical Strangers film.
The extraordinary documentary Three Identical Strangers is one that, really, is best seen knowing next to nothing out it. Well, outside of the title. The film, from director Tim Wardle, may have escaped the interest of the Academy Awards this year, but it was a strong documentary box office hit. And now it’s being turned into a narrative feature, based on the same story.
Anthony McCarten, who penned the likes of Darkest Hour and Bohemian Rhapsody, has signed on the dotted line to pen the script for the movie. Sidney Kimmel Entertainment, Film4 and Raw are the production companies involved. McCarten will serve as one of the film’s producers, too.
No word yet on when to expect the film, but do seek the documentary out. And do go into it as cold as possible if you can (metaphorically, obviously. Don’t want you to get chilly)
