A new film charting the story of a man who ran seven marathons in seven days – in spite of not being able to see.
The remarkable story of ‘Blind Dave’ Heeley has been brought to the screen in a new short film by Ian and Dominic Higgins.
The pair have directed the piece, that’s been produced by Nigel Martin Davey. The film, 7 Days: The Story Of ‘Blind Dave’ Heeley tells the story of its subject, who decides to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven days. He does so to raise money for The Albion Foundation (the charity of West Bromwich Albion football club).
The only problem? That Dave is completely blind.
This remarkable true story stars Jack Lane, Robert Harrison and Sarah Manners, and the 45 minute piece has now landed on the Amazon Prime streaming service. You can find the movie here.
It’s taken two years to complete the film, and here’s a trailer for it…
