Off the back of a successful cinema run, Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts heads to physical media in the UK in October.
One of the slightly more off radar blockbuster box office hits of summer 2023 – well, it wasn’t Barbie or Oppenheimer – has been the latest live action Transformers movie, Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts. It’s not done the old Michael Bay movie levels of business, but on the plus side, it’s not a Michael Bay Transformers movie.
Steven Caple Jr instead steered this one, and having picked up over $400m of business, there’s talk of a further sequel on the way. Before that? There’s the small matter of the home formats release, with Paramount backing this one for DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray as well.
The film is heading to all three formats in the UK on October 9th 2023 it’s been revealed, and you can find out more about the releases right here.
Furthermore, if you’re so inclined, there’s a 4K Steelbook option as well. Slightly more expensive, a lot more limited, and available here.
At a point where one studio at least is wavering in its ongoing commitment to physical media, top marks to Paramount again here. No word on extra features, we’ll keep you posted there if and when we hear more.
