A Clockwork Orange is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in October

Another Stanley Kubrick film heads to 4K disc, as Warner Bros sets A Clockwork Orange for an October release on the format. The films of Stanley Kubrick are being served increasingly well on the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray format, with the latest to join the ranks being his 1971 film of A Clockwork Orange. It’s been a release rumoured for a while now, but Warner Bros has now listed the 4K remaster of the movie for October 4th 2021. What’s more, it’s pulled the stops out a little – and upped the price as it’s done so – and will be giving us an Ultimate Collectors Edition version of the film. Inside the package is a Blu-ray disc with the excellent Stanley Kubrick: A Life In Pictures documentary, a 32-page booklet, three art cards, a newspaper prop replica, and assorted extra features (which look like they’ve been carried over from previous releases at first glance). And, of course, there’s the 4K disc as well. The package will set you back £35, and it’s available for preorder now.
