You can watch Timothée Chalamet’s charming chocolatier in UHD very soon. More on the Wonka 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD release here.

Paul King’s charming, thoroughly lovely Wonka has been doing well for itself. The film, which debuted in cinemas in December, has just crossed the $500m mark at the global box office.

The film follows a young Willy Wonka as he arrives in Europe with a head full of dreams and chocolate recipes. He faces a gang of rival chocolatiers, but nothing can come between Willy and his sweeties, it seems.

The film was critically acclaimed, with many praising Chalamet’s performance and King’s direction. Our own Simon Brew found the film “flat-out brilliant, brimming with magic, confidence, colour and life.” You can read more about his feelings on the film here
