Production is now underway on a new dark comedy by the name of Paul Dodds’ Deadly Lunch Break. It’s from director Nick Gillespie, and it tells the tale of a man called Paul, with a desire to be famous. Those ambitions are being realised though, and thus Paul doesn’t take this very well.
The cast for the movie features Kris Marshall, Alice Lowe, Johnny Vegas, Tom Meeten. Kevin Bishop, Mandeep Dhillon, Steve Oram, Craig Parkinson and Pippa Haywood. Gillespie penned the script along with Brook Driver and Matt White.
The official plot description teases…
When five holier-than-thou, jobs-worthy characters get in his way and cause him to miss his audition, Paul plans deadly revenge, with each wrongdoer dispatched in a suitably fitting manner. It’s one lunch break, with five spectacular murders in a sparkly spangled suit. Will he pull it off and will he find the fame he’s always longed for?
