Announced by Renegade Game Studios during GenCon 2022, American Psycho: A Killer Game is set to be released in 2023.
Yes, you read that right. 2000’s American Psycho, starring Christian Bale, is getting its own board game. Made by Renegade Game Studios, who specialise in tabletop gaming, it was announced last month at GenCon 2022 and will be released sometime next year.
This classic-style board game features cards and tokens, and will transport you into the high stakes world of investment banking. Your challenge is to collect the most valuable assets and live a life of luxury, while also trying your hardest not to succumb to a murderous rage.
American Psycho – A Killer Game is available to preorder from Renegade Game Studios here, and here’s the official description:
“In this game of yuppie one-upmanship, you’ll compare your accomplishments as you seek to obtain the most valuable assets, secure reservations at the trendiest restaurants, maintain your personal appearance, and have a better business card than your hated colleagues. All while trying to keep your psychotic rage in check, and that rising body count under control. After all, sometimes getting ahead in this world can be absolute murder!”
It does sound like a rather fun time for fans of film and tabletop games. Just try not to take it too seriously!
American Psycho – A Killer Game will be released in 2023.
