Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney star in the new romcom that’s in cinemas in December – here’s the Anyone But You trailer.
Glen Powell is currently enjoying rave reviews for his performance in Richard Linklater’s Hit Man, which will stream on Netflix at a later date. Meanwhile, you can read our very positive review here.
His next film, however, sees him star opposite Euphoria's Sydney Sweeney in Anyone But You. The romcom heads to UK cinemas on 26th December. The synopsis, if you like these sorts of things, reads as follows:
Bea (Sydney Sweeney) and Ben (Glen Powell) look like the perfect couple, but after an amazing first date something happens that turns their fiery hot attraction ice cold – until they find themselves unexpectedly thrust together at a destination wedding in Australia. So they do what any two mature adults would do: pretend to be a couple.
Alexandra Shipp, Darren Barnet, Bryan Brown (yes! F/X!), Joe Davidson, Rachel Griffiths and Dermot Mulroney complete what we’re sure you’ll agree is a sterling cast.

Friends With Benefits and Easy A director Will Gluck helms the film. Anyone But You will mark his first romcom since 2014’s About Last Night. He also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Ilana Wolpert, from her original story. Wolpert has previously written on Disney+ show High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
