Britcom Goes to the Movies LIVE! The League of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse + Q&A with Jeremy Dyson – Saturday November 14th
On Saturday 14th November, Britcom boys Rob Heath and Guy Walker host their first live show. All the details here…
Ticking off one of their bucket list podcasting items, Rob Heath and Guy Walker of Britcom Goes to the Movies will be taking their Film Stories Podcast Network show live for the very first time at the Science and Media Museum in Yorkshire’s very own Bradford.
After screening 2005’s The League of Gentlemen’s Apocalypse, Rob and Guy will be joined on stage by Jeremy Dyson, the only League member not on camera (although he does feature in the movie in a fun way…), to discuss the show, the movie and almost 30 years of this extraordinary British comedy.
Heath gives a bit more detail on how it came to be: “Through friend of the pod and former guest Ross Birks, who has curated a screening of The League of Gentlemen Apocalypse, doing a Q&A with Jeremy Dyson was an opportunity we simply couldn’t refuse, both being huge fans of The League of Gentlemen. Of course, this TV to film transfer is of course one we are yet to officially cover on Britcom Goes to the Movies, but watch this space…”
Tickets are now available on the Science and Media Museum website. Here’s a direct link: https://www.scienceandmediamuseum.org.uk/cinema/league-gentlemens-apocalypse-15-jeremy-dyson
Act fast as they’re likely to sell like Hilary Briss’ special stuff. We will hopefully see you there!
