The Pitch Perfect star Brittany Snow examines food addiction in her first feature as director: more details on the film here.
Brittany Snow, who starred in Ti West’s brilliant horror X earlier this year, as well as the Pitch Perfect film series, is to make her directorial debut with September 17th.
The film follows Riley, recently released from a rehab for overeaters. She meets Ethan, and finds herself swapping one addiction for another.
Courtney Easton and Thomas Mann will star as Riley and Ethan respectively, while Gina Rodriguez, Joel McHale, Scott Mescudi, Francesca Reale, Jennifer Westfeldt, Ekaterina Baker and Kathryn Gallagher round out the cast.
As well as directing, Snow has also written the script alongside Becca Gleason.
September 17th does not have a release date as of yet, we’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
