Itās official: The Terminator is getting a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release this November, in standard and Steelbook variants. More here.
We’ve known for a while of plans to celebrate the 40th anniversary of The Terminator with a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release. Now we know when to expect it as well.
Warner Bros has earmarked 4th November 2024 for the release, and it’s going to be unleashing both a standard and Steelbook iteration of the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.
The standard (lower cost!) edition can be found here.
The posh Steelbook (higher cost!) edition can be found here.
Both versions feature the 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc, and there are extra features included as well. This little lot, as it happens…

It’s unclear at the moment whether there’s a second disc in the box – maybe a Blu-ray to carry over some of the extra features – but keep checking the listing and more details are slowly coming through.
As if you need it, we’ll leave you with the synopsis for the film…
Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as the most fierce and relentless killing machine ever to threaten the survival of mankind. An indestructible cyborg — a Terminator (Schwarzenegger) — is sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), the woman whose unborn son will become humanity’s only hope in a future war against machines. This legendary sci-fi thriller from Academy Award-Winning Director James Cameron, fires an arsenal of action and heart-stopping suspense that never lets up.
That, then, completes The Terminator movies on 4K disc, although a proper reworking of the flawed Terminator 2: Judgment Day release would be very much appreciated. We’ll keep you posted if we hear anything on that front.
