A brilliant teacher is trying to source some reading books for her students – and here’s, with thanks, the wishlist if you want to help out.
Just a quick request, this. One of the people we’re very proud to work with at Film Stories is Charlotte Harrison, who also – aside from sharing her film nerdisms with us – teaches in the Tower Hamlets area of London.
She’s trying to address the fact that, during lockdown, a number of her students won’t have access to their own reading books. As such, she’s planning to buy books for said students, and hand them out at a socially-distanced pick-up point in early July.
If you’re interested in giving a student the gift of a brand new book, here’s a list of the texts she’s trying to source. Likewise, any other teachers who have similar wishlists for their students, let us know and we’ll add them to this post.
