Catherine O’Hara has reportedly signed on to return in the long awaited Beetlejuice 2, as the long-mooted sequel gains momentum.

Beetlejuice 2 has had a long, long journey to the screen. Going through multiple potential plots and several scripts, it seems this really is the year it finally gets off the ground.

It was reported earlier this year that Brad Pitt’s Plan B films would produce a sequel to Tim Burton’s original, and that Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder would reprise their roles as Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz, respectively. Now it seems even more of the family are reuniting, as Catherine O’Hara has reportedly joined the sequel to reprise her role as Delia Deetz. O’Hara has remained positive in recent years about returning for the sequel  (she also met her husband, production designer Bo Welch, on the first film).

There is still no word yet on whether Tim Burton will be back behind the camera, he’s currently busy promoting his new Addams Family Netflix series Wednesday. But he’s certainly toyed with making a follow-up himself in the past.

We’ll keep you updated as we hear more. Maybe if we say the name of the sequel three times, it might just magically appear…
