Curzon to release British comedy drama Sweet Sue

Curzon will release British comedy drama Sweet Sue from filmmaker Leo Leigh, and here are the details.

British cinematographer Leo Leigh will make his feature directorial debut with Sweet Sue. Leigh previously worked on various documentaries as well as writing and directing the BIFA nominated short film Mother.

Sweet Sue follows “a woman who finds herself back on the dating scene. She meets a mysterious biker at her brother’s funeral, however as their relationship blossoms, she becomes at odds with the biker’s social media influencer son”.

Maggie O’Neill stars alongside Tony Pitts and Harry Trevaldwyn. Leigh directs from his own script.

Sweet Sue is currently in post production and Curzon will release the film in the UK, though no date has been announced.
