The Steven Spielberg-directed classic Jaws has inspired a brand new LEGO set, and details of it have come to light.

Steven Spielberg’s Jaws has inspired many things. Three sequels (including, of course, the peerless Jaws 3-D), Carl Gottlieb’s brilliant book The Jaws Log and a ride at Universal Studios.

Now, we can add LEGO to the list, as a new set has been announced set around the film. Developed through LEGO Ideas by fan Jonny Campbell, the set was selected after the annual review to go into development. It sounds like it’s getting close to going on sale too.

Made up of 1,860 pieces, maybe even enough to make a bigger boat, the set will include The Orca, Brody, Quint, Hooper and, of course, Bruce the Shark (Spielberg named the mechanical shark Bruce after his lawyer).

There are no details about pricing or a release date, but you can see pictures of the designs over at The Daily Jaws
