Disney is re-releasing a selection of animated classics on the big screen to celebrate its hundredth anniversary – and it all starts in August.
2023 marks the year of Disney’s centenary celebrations. Walt Disney Studios was founded in October 1923, although the first animated feature, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, wasn’t released until 1937.
To celebrate the occasion, Disney are re-releasing a selection of their classic films in cinemas. Each film will be in cinemas for around a week:
Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs – From August 4th 2023
Bambi – From August 18th 2023
Cinderella – From August 25th 2023
Peter Pan – From September 1st 2023
101 Dalmatians – From September 8th 2023
Jungle Book – From September 15th 2023
Beauty And The Beast – From September 22nd 2023
Toy Story – From September 29th 2023
Princess And The Frog – From October 6th 2023
Frozen – From October 13th 2023
Tickets for the first few films are on sale at most cinemas now.
