Disney’s latest animated movie, Strange World, is coming to physical media – but it’s not getting a 4K release in the UK.

After debuting in cinemas back in November, and not to the kind of numbers that Disney would have wanted, the animated feature Strange World made its way to streaming just before Christmas. There, the latest animation from Walt Disney Animation Studios has started to find more of an audience.

Disney is also releasing the movie on disc too, although not until February 6th in the UK. And disappointingly, we learn that it’s only getting an outing on DVD and Blu-ray. Presumably, the box office returns had put paid to a 4K Ultra Blu-ray release over here, even though it’s getting one elsewhere in the world.

Anyway. On the plus side, there are extra features listed for the release, although it’s unclear at the moment if these are only on the Blu-ray. They’re listed as anatomy of a scene, strange science, creature feature, the hidden secrets of Strange World, outtakes, and deleted scenes.

The disc is available to preorder now anyway, and you can find more information on it – and can order a copy – right here.
