In terrifying news, there is a brand new show to announce on the Film Stories Podcast Network… Podmetheus: An Alien Podcast.
Network co-founder, podcaster and author AJ Black, joined by a range of Alien-loving guests, will be working his way through the entire outer space franchise, starting within Ridley Scott’s seminal Alien from 1979, as we approach the arrival of Noah Hawley’s TV series Alien: Earth this summer, which Podmetheus will cover episode by episode.
Black said about the new show: “Alien: Earth is a series tantalising enough to cover on a recap basis but then I started wondering how much fun a podcast focusing on the entire series would be. Alien is such a broad church of styles and filmmakers spanning 50 years, it just felt too good an opportunity not to delve into a very very well-covered franchise and see if we could add anything new. It’ll be as fun as the pun-tastic title!”
Podmetheus leaves dry dock on Tuesday February 11th with two debut episodes, one featuring Film Stories’ very own web editor Ryan Lambie, and will air monthly until the arrival of Alien: Earth.
