A social media post on the Disney+ account has revealed the title for this year’s Doctor Who Christmas Special.
If you would prefer not to know the title of the Christmas special for this year’s Doctor Who, then read no further. Although given it’s the headline of this article, we’re assuming you might just know that it’s coming.
In a social media post on X/Twitter, Disney+ published a selection of seasonal shows landing on the service. Disney, of course, is showing Doctor Who everywhere in the world apart from the UK, and it seems that it’s ramping up promotion for the show from Christmas.
Among the shows that, therefore, Disney has begin to tease for the festive season is Doctor Who, and we now know that the Christmas special will be called:
The Church On Ruby Road
The Ruby of the title presumably refers to Fifteenth Doctor Ncuti Gatwa’s companion Ruby Sunday, played by Millie Gibson.

A UK airdate for The Church On Ruby Road has not been officially confirmed, though all signs point to Doctor Who taking back it’s primetime BBC One slot on Christmas Day. It’s been several years since Doctor Who has been a part of Christmas Day viewing, and it’s good to have the TARDIS back in its place.
