Period drama spoof Fackham Hall has a trailer and release date in the US – and we can now confirm that the UK release is imminent too.
We’ve been following the story of Fackham Hall for a year or two, a spoof movie that shot at the end of 2024. It’s the first screenplay to be co-written by Jimmy Carr, alongside Patrick Carr and writing duo The Dawson Brothers.
At the point the film was first revealed, the description suggested this was going for the kind of gag rate and tone of The Naked Gun. It’s a spoof of British period dramas, and Jim O’Hanlon has directed the film, and the cast includes Ben Radcliffe, Thomasin McKenzie, Katherine Waterston, Lizzie Hopley, Emma Laird, Damian Lewis, Tom Felton, Sue Johnston and Anna Maxwell-Martin, amongst many others.
The first trailer for the film actually landed last month, but it’s only now popped up on the internet. It looks like this…
A red band version of that played in the US ahead of screenings of Spinal Tap II: The End Continues, and it now has a US release date of this year. Bleecker Street is its US distributor, and it’s inked in a date of 5th December 2025 for this to get its debut. Legion M is supporting the release.
On the UK side, things are quiet. Elysian Film Group was producing the film over here, but it’s not appeared on its release slate and I can’t find a listing for it on the Elysian website either. The trailer hasn’t made it to UK cinemas either, and it feels like the film is in a tiny bit of limbo over here. A UK shot period drama shot in Britain instead will debut in America first.
UPDATE: Entertainment Film Distributors has emerged as the UK distributor, and the film now has a UK release date of 12th December 2025. One week after the US release.
Bleecker Street, incidentally, has put a poster for the film out. It looks like this.
