Daniel Craig’s James Bond will be back a little later than expected.
There’s going to now be a near five-year gap between the last James Bond movie and the new one, with the news that 007’s new adventure has been put back by a further two months.
James Bond 25 has already lost its original director (Danny Boyle), and also conceded time during the period when it was unclear if Daniel Craig would return to reprise the role of 007. He’s very much on board, but the film – that had been scheduled for February 2020 – has now been moved to April 2020. Don’t be surprised if it lands in the UK in late March of next year.

Furthermore, Scott Z Burns has been brought in to give the screenplay a rewrite. That, as per The Playlist, he’s not just doing some punch up work. He’s doing sizeable rewrites.
Filming on the new James Bond film will now start in April, with Cary Fukunaga directing. Expect the title of the film to be announced as filming begins.
