Ghost is making its 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray debut in the UK this October – and there are more details on the release right here.
No arguing with Paramount’s current commitment to physical media, although there is a bit of worrying news on that front from the US. Still, for the minute, there’s a sizeable collection of titles coming through, and the latest from the catalogue to get a 4K makeover is 1990’s Ghost.
Along with Pretty Woman, Ghost was a flat-out sleeper hit in 1990, with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore headlining, and Whoopi Goldberg walking away with her Oscar. Jerry Zucker directed, and we previously dug into the making of the film in a 2021 Film Stories podcast episode.
There’s also the welcome news that Demi Moore still has her old clay pots from the movie.
The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray disc of Ghost is set to arrive on 21st October 2024. You can find more information on the release, and order yourself a copy, right here.
The package will come with a Blu-ray included as well, which usually means that previous extra features are being carried over. There’s none currently on the listing, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that the cupboard will be bare.
The synopsis for the film, if you’re unfamiliar with it, reads as follows.
