Production on Prime Video’s Good Omens season 3 has been halted after Neil Gaiman’s assault allegations.

We reported last week that Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book film was put on hold after Gaiman was accused of sexual assault. Gaiman has strongly denied all allegations. You can read more about those here

The third and final season of Gaiman’s Prime Video show Good Omens was already in filming in Scotland, but production has now been paused, as reported by Deadline. Although a spokesperson declined to comment on the matter to Deadline, the outlet has heard that there might be “discussions about possible production changes.” This is completely unconfirmed information, but we’ll keep an eye on any developments.

Good Omens stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant as the angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley who team up to save the world from destruction. Season 2 landed on Prime Video in 2023 and the series was renewed for one final season in December.

Good Omens is based on Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s 1990 novel Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. Gaiman acts as the series’ creator, producer and writer. Gaiman wrote the entire first season on his own and collaborated with John Finnemore on the scripts for the second season. Good Omens has proved to be very popular with critics and audiences alike with particular praise going to the two leads.

The future of Good Omens is uncertain at this point, but we’ll bring you more news as we hear them.
