2023’s Take That musical movie Greatest Days is finally coming to DVD in the UK in early 2025: more on the release here.

There was an element of sheer bad luck when new UK distributor Elysian released the Take That-influenced movie Greatest Days into UK cinemas in the summer of 2023. The weekend it booked the film in for a wide release, the British weather didn’t co-operate, with a weekend of bright sunshine sending cinema numbers south. As such, Greatest Days didn’t get the bookings for week two, and was dropping out of cinemas in seemingly no time.

In spite of Greatest Days arriving on physical media elsewhere in Europe, the film has never had a physical media release over in the UK. It popped up on Prime Video just weeks after its cinema bow, and fans of the movie – which we put on our cover many issues back – have had to import the disc should they want a DVD or Blu-ray.

However, three paragraphs in, I get to the point. Greatest Days has finally popped up on the UK disc release scheduled. We’re only getting a DVD (it’s out on Blu-ray elsewhere in Europe), but it’s a DVD with extra features. Elysian has inked the DVD of the film in for release on 3rd February 2025, and I wonder if it’s been prompted a little by the high profile incoming Robbie Williams biopic, Better Man.

Whatever the reason, it’s a good, fun film this. You’re getting a bunch of interviews on the disc, as well as the film itself. You can find the listing for the disc here, where you can also order a copy.

For now, we’ll leave you with the synopsis of the movie. Do check it out.

Featuring the hit songs of Take That, GREATEST DAYS is an epic musical about five best friends who idolise the boyband, fall apart and then reunite 20 years later at the Boyband’s reunion concert
