Guy Ritchie is to write and direct Vigilance, more than likely as his next project.
If there’s going to be a sequel to Disney’s live action Aladdin movie, then it’s either going to have wait for director Guy Ritchie, or find someone else to to step into shoes.
With his new gangster movie The Gentlemen lined up for release in January, Ritchie is staying closer to his roots again for his next movie, that’s going by the name of Vigilance.
He’s writing and directing the film, with Ivan Atkinson set to produce. Miramax looks like it’s putting up the funds.
The movie follows an American woman working for a British armoured car company. And as you might expect, she soon finds herself drawn into a heist plot.
No news yet on casting or a start date on the project. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
