Jackie Chan is filming a sequel to 2005 hit The Myth, and the first details of the project have landed.
Even as he approaches his 70th birthday, Jackie Chan shows no signs of slowing down. With action comedy Ride On due for release this year, and the long awaited fourth installment of the Rush Hour franchise heading ever closer to production, Chan is busier than ever.
He’s currently in production on a sequel to his 2005 hit The Myth (pictured), an action adventure which saw Chan take on a dual role, of an ancient warrior and Jack, his reincarnation in the modern day, whose visions of the past lead him on an epic adventure.
Chan is once again starring, alongside Gülnezer Bextiyar.
Stanley Tong directed the original, though it is understood he is involved in the sequel as a screenwriter only.
We’ll keep you updated as we hear more.
