Finally: James Cameron’s Titanic is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in the UK, just this side of Christmas.
It doesn’t look like the promised 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray releases of both True Lies and The Abyss will be ready just in time for Christmas, as originally hoped. Those are now likely to slip into the first couple of months of next year.
However! Just about squeezing into the 2023 release schedule is the 4K disc release of the multi-Oscar-winning epic, Titanic. Already announced in the US, there was a fear that the film wouldn’t come to the 4K disc format over here before Christmas. Yet it’s now going to be released by Disney on December 18th 2023.
You can find the listing for the film – and you can order a copy – right here.
You’re getting three discs for your money in the packaging. As well as the 4K disc itself, there’s the Blu-ray version as well, and a bonus disc on top. Unusually, we’re not just getting previous extras ported over on that aforementioned Blu-ray. The film comes with new features as well for this release, specifically…
