The new film from controversial New Order director Michael Franco has wrapped up filming: more details here. Jessica Chastain, in her first film role since winning an Oscar for her performance in The Eyes Of Tammy Faye, will star alongside Peter Sarsgaard in Michael Franco’s new film called Memory. Plot details are scarce at present, except that it will revolve around a staycation. Co-starring are Eighth Grade's Elsie Fisher, Merrit Weaver, Josh Charles and Jessica Harper. It will be Franco’s second English language film after 2015’s Chronic, which starred Tim Roth. It will also be the fifth collaboration between the filmmaker and cinematographer Yves Cape. It wrapped filming in New York last Friday. Franco said of the film that “I was honoured to collaborate with a great ensemble cast and to shoot in a city that is a character in itself. I look forward to sharing it with the audience”. Not much else to say at the moment. More on the movie as we hear it.
