The latest Fantastic Beasts film is coming to DVD, Blu-ray and 4K disc in the UK this July: more details here.
Whilst the franchise now seems to be in a small degree of limbo, Warner Bros has announced the DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release details of the third Fantastic Beasts film.
Entitled, of course, Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets Of Dumbledore, the movie has done nearly $400m of business in cinemas worldwide. That’s a low for the franchise, but not entirely shabby. The problem being the feeling this is now a franchise in decline, and that the movie cost so much to make and market in the first place.
The home formats release may, of course, turn the fortunes of the film around. The movie will be available to buy and rent digitally from May 31st, and then Warner Bros is planned a physical media release for the end of July.
Currently, the release date is earmarked for July 25th, which is when the movie will appear on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray too.
You can find the listing for the release, and order yourself a copy, here.
Extras-wise, the DVD is restricted to just a Magic Of Hogwarts feature. The 4K and Blu-rays meanwhile come with this little lot…
- The Dumbledore Family Tree
- Dumbledore through the ages
- The Magic of Hogwarts
- Magical or Muggle
- Even more Fantastic Beasts
- Newt in the Wild
- The German Ministry of Magic
- A Dumbledore Duel
- The Candidates Dinner
- Erkstag Jailbreak
- Battle in Bhutan
- Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
- Deleted Scenes
The disc is available to preorder now.
